There is a mildly meditative state we enter when we are on, in, or next to water. It naturally lowers stress, regulates the nervous system, and heals the soul. This concept is scientifically recognized as ‘Blue Mind’. It describes the neurological shift our brains undergo when in aquatic environments.

Having lived on the water for a number of years I can totally relate, hence dedicating a collection of my work to this phenomenon. Every brushstroke in these paintings is an invitation to pause, breathe, and step into that healing space.
